I enjoy worship music. It brings me close to my SAVIOR, remembering who HE is and what HE has done for me, not to mention what HE is currently doing, and what HE is going to do, keeping all the promises HE gave us in HIS word. There are times when the joy overflows so much that tears start flowing down my face. Oh, the peace, love, confidence I feel when I worship JESUS.

Walking down the hall to get to my office, I started singing one of my favorite songs, Take Me Away by Jamie Grace. I love the chorus of this song…”and oooh, there’s something about the way, YOUR SON shines on my face, YOUR love’s so true, I could never get enough of YOU, this feeling can’t be wrong, I’m about to get my worship on, take me a way, on this beautiful day.” We can get so lost and so caught up in worshipping the LORD that we get carried away. I know I do.

But music is not the only means of worshipping JESUS! We can worship the LORD with whatever we do.

As I was coming to work, I was praying, asking the LORD to bless my family, my co-workers, and the children I come in contact with on a daily basis. And as that song came back to me sitting at my desk, the LORD spoke to me in that still small voice, “you were worshipping me as you prayed.”

Wow!

When we go to the LORD in prayer, we are asking HIM to take control of what we can’t control. We are giving in to the fact the HE is the ONE who can truly take care of any situation, and know that the outcome will be, not so much what we want, but exactly what we need.

Romans 8:28 says, “And we know that all things work together for good to then that love GOD, to them who are the called according to HIS purpose.”

When we pray, above all else, we must remember to thank HIM for HIS blessings on our lives. What can we do, or how far can we get without the LORD holding us and comforting us and taking care of us in every way? Think about what HE has done for you, no matter how big or how small.

Worship the LORD…

In music!

In prayer!

In everything you do!

Just worship HIM wherever, whenever, and however!!
